DOCUMENT P-04 THE CORRECTIONS LOG POLICY NOTHING DELETED, EVER

Every mistake. In public. Forever.

Every publication makes mistakes. Most bury them. This page is the opposite: every error we've published, what we got wrong, when we fixed it, and who caught it — newest first, preserved permanently. We can't promise we'll never be wrong. We can promise you'll never have to wonder.

How this ledger works Errors are logged within 24 hours of confirmation. The original mistake stays visible, struck through — memory-holing is the coward's edit (Tenet T3). Severity is graded: FACTUAL (wrong stat, wrong quote, wrong claim) or MINOR (typos, broken links, mislabeled dates). Whoever catches it gets named, unless they'd rather not be. Catch one yourself: corrections@rawgolf.com — best catch of the month gets your name on the fix.
ERR-003 LOGGED 13 JUN 2026 FACTUAL
"Inside Scottie Scheffler's Statistically Dominant 2025 Season"
We wrote "Scheffler led the PGA Tour in Strokes Gained: Total in 2025 with an average of +2.49 per round."
The truth The +2.49 figure was his 2024 Strokes Gained: Total. In 2025 he led the Tour with a Strokes Gained: Total of +2.743 per round, alongside leads in SG: Tee-to-Green and SG: Approach.

ERR-002 LOGGED 10 JUN 2026 FACTUAL
"The Golden Bear's Last Roar: Revisiting the 1986 Masters"
We wrote "Jack Nicklaus won the 1986 Masters with a final 72-hole total of 7 under par."
The truth The -7 was his final-round score of 65, not his tournament total. Nicklaus finished at 9 under par (279 total) and won by one stroke over Tom Kite and Greg Norman.
Caught by Golf Raw Data Desk (Self-reported).
ERR-001 LOGGED 05 JUN 2026 MINOR
"A Pilgrimage to the Home of Golf"
We wrote "We toured the Old Course at St. Andrew's..."
The truth The town and the course are spelled St Andrews with no apostrophe. Boring typo, but a rule is a rule.
