The short answer

How do you calculate a golf Nassau bet instantly without an app?

Enter every player's hole-by-hole scores and this free golf betting calculator settles the Nassau, presses, skins and junk in a single click.

The Settle Up is a free online golf betting calculator that runs entirely in your browser. It handles a full Nassau (front nine, back nine and overall match), automatic two-down presses, skins with stacked carryovers, and per-hole junk like greenies and sandies, then reduces the whole mess to the smallest possible set of payments. If you want to settle your golf bets now without arguing in a car park, you enter the scores and it does the arithmetic. If you are here understanding how Nassau scoring works in the first place, the maths is explained in full below the calculator.

FAQ ยท Questions Golfers Actually Ask

How does a Nassau bet work in golf?

A Nassau is three separate bets in one: the front nine, the back nine and the overall eighteen. Each is usually worth the same stake, so a five dollar Nassau is really fifteen dollars in play. You can win the front, lose the back and still take the overall, which is why it is scored as three independent matches rather than one running total.

What is an automatic two-down press in golf betting?

A press is a new bet opened for the remaining holes, traditionally when a player goes two holes down. Automatic presses trigger without anyone having to ask, and they stack: a player two down on the front can be carrying the original bet plus several presses at once. This is where casual games get expensive, because the total exposure grows faster than most groups realise.

How do skins carryovers work when a hole is tied?

If two or more players tie the low score on a hole, nobody wins that skin and its value carries forward to the next hole. Carryovers stack, so a run of tied holes can leave a single skin worth many times the base stake. A hole late in the round can end up carrying more money than the entire Nassau.
